The Kerala government has called for a thorough examination of safety measures in place at public events, especially those involving fireworks, to ensure the protection of attendees.
Local communities have expressed their shock and grief over the incident, as they come to terms with the impact of this tragedy on their traditions and celebrations. The Theyyam ritual, a significant cultural event, has now been overshadowed by the memory of this devastating explosion.
