Coronation Street spoilers next week: 26 to 30 October
It is Halloween week. A power cut hits the Street, Sally is alone in the house, and she hits a figure over the head with a vase. ITV is not saying who it is.
| Storyline | What happens |
|---|---|
| Sally | Alone in a power cut, hits an intruder with a vase |
| Lucy | Her journal calls Sally controlling |
| Christina | Drops a photo of Lucy’s dead mother |
| Tyrone | Punches Chesney, egged on by his dad |
| Bethany | Ryan finds out she is pregnant |
| Adam | Proposes to Alya after the ring is stolen |
| Idris | Switches from the bistro to the factory |
| Marco | Loses his case and goes to prison |
ITV publishes the week’s previews without saying which night each scene airs, so the running order below is by storyline rather than by day.
Sally is alone when the lights go out
Sally bans Lucy from Kayla’s Halloween party. Tim, Lucy and Joanie go to the party at the Rovers instead, which leaves Sally in the house on her own.
She hears a noise. The landline rings and there is nobody on the line. She sees a figure at the window and convinces herself it is Mick Michaelis, who has broken out of prison before. Lisa tries to talk her down.
Then the power cut takes out the whole street, and a figure appears behind her. Sally hits them over the head with a vase.
ITV has not revealed who she hit.
Lucy’s journal turns on Sally
A social worker, Ruth, reveals that Lucy’s journal describes Sally as controlling. Sally is horrified by it. Lucy takes her side of the story to Christina.
Christina drops the photograph
Christina Boyd is Lucy’s grandmother, though the family history behind that is the part people keep missing. Christina had a daughter, Rachel, at eighteen after being seduced by her boss. She could not cope, and Rachel was adopted by her biological father and his wife. Rachel was Lucy’s mother, and Rachel was murdered.
Next week Lucy shows Christina old family videos. One of them shows Richie abusing Rachel. Christina walks out and drops a keyring with Rachel’s photo in it.
Lucy picks it up and wants to know why her grandmother is carrying a picture of her dead mum.
Tyrone punches Chesney
Tyrone finds a bruise on Dorin, who says Aled hit him.
Ross, Tyrone’s father, has spent weeks working on this family. He sabotaged their film night and left Fiz and Tyrone’s marriage cracked. Now he pushes Tyrone to confront Chesney and Gemma about the bullying, and deliberately starts the argument.
Tyrone, determined not to look weak in front of his dad, throws the punch. He regrets it immediately, and Fiz makes him apologise at the party.
Ryan works out that Bethany is pregnant
Ryan calls at the flat and finds Bethany pale and exhausted, passing it off as a hangover. He goes into her bag and finds folic acid.
The pregnancy is from a one-night stand. Ryan offers to support her.
Adam proposes, eventually
Paula talks Debbie into handing over the key to the room Adam has booked, then takes the ring. Debbie gets it back in time.
Adam asks Alya to marry him. She says yes.
Idris goes after the factory
Idris drops the bistro deal and moves on the factory instead. Carla turns down his offer to help with the rebrand, so he starts looking for another way in.
Marco is jailed
Marco loses his case and goes to prison. Summer visits and tells him she is staying with him through the appeal.
Was Sarah Platt found guilty?
No. Sarah was cleared of murdering Theo Silverton on Monday night, and her family cheered in court.
She had hit Theo over the head with a metal pole and always maintained it was self-defence. The jury agreed.
Viewers did not. One side of the argument wanted her convicted of involuntary manslaughter and perverting the course of justice, and the phrase doing the rounds is that Sarah has plot armour. The other side is simply glad she is still on the Street.
What time is Coronation Street on?
8.30 pm on ITV1, Monday to Friday, straight after Emmerdale at 8 pm.
Both soaps have run in that hour since January 2026, with five 30-minute episodes each a week.
You do not have to wait until 8.30 pm. Episodes go up on ITVX at 7am the same morning, so the week’s biggest scenes are usually online and being discussed before they air. ITV’s Coronation Street page carries the official previews.
ITV moves the soaps for live football several times a season, so the slot is reliable rather than guaranteed.
When are the spoilers after that released?
ITV publishes each week’s previews around a week ahead, so the 1 to 7 November spoilers should land this Friday.
This page is updated as soon as they do. If you follow the other side of the hour, our Emmerdale spoilers next week page is updated on the same schedule.
