The U2 tour 2027 dates for the UK are in: two nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 June, with Wolf Alice supporting. It’s part of Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour, and the band’s first UK stadium shows since The Joshua Tree tour played Twickenham in 2017.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday 6 November, but there are four presales before that, and the sign-up for one of them closes on Sunday night. Here’s every date, how each presale works, and why the gap in the calendar matters to anyone hoping for U2 at Glastonbury.
When is U2 playing in the UK in 2027?
On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 June 2027, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. They are the only UK dates announced so far.
The European leg opens in Stockholm on Monday 26 April and runs through Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London and Berlin before finishing in Milan on Tuesday 6 July. Dates in Spain are still to be announced, U2.com says.

When do U2 tickets go on sale?
General sale opens at 10 am on Friday 6 November. Before that, U2.com subscribers, Visa cardholders, album buyers and Artist Presale sign-ups all get a turn.

How do you get U2 presale tickets?
The free route is the Artist Presale. Sign up on Ticketmaster before 10.59 pm on Sunday 1 November, and you can join the sale on Thursday 5 November without a code.
- Artist Presale. Sign up through U2’s Ticketmaster page, tick the London dates and look for the confirmation screen. Ticketmaster emails you a link the day before and suggests joining the queue 30 minutes early. Some fans may be asked for a quick selfie check, U2.com says.
- U2.com subscriber presale. Only for paid subscribers. People who were already subscribed on 25 September are in the Feedback Group on Monday, and anyone who joins now goes into the Hype Group on Tuesday. The email on your Ticketmaster account must match your U2.com one.
- Visa presale. On Wednesday 4 November from 10 am to 10 pm. You need a Visa card to get in.
- Album pre-order presale. Also on Wednesday, for people who have pre-ordered Carnaval De Luz. Access details come from the store you ordered from.
- Four tickets, every time. Each presale and the general sale have a limit of four tickets per show, and a code or sign-up doesn’t guarantee tickets.
How much are U2 tickets for 2027?
Prices haven’t been announced yet. Ticketmaster says the organisers will release them when sales begin.
We’ll add the Tottenham prices here as soon as they’re published. Ticketmaster also says ticket transfer and resale haven’t been switched on yet, so be wary of anyone offering U2 tickets before the sales have even started.
Could U2 play Glastonbury 2027?
Nothing has been announced, but the tour leaves the door open. U2 have no shows between London on 19 June and Berlin on 30 June, and Glastonbury runs from 23 to 27 June.

That’s ten days without a show. It proves nothing on its own, and the three headliners the Mail on Sunday reported are Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Sam Fender. Every report so far is in our Glastonbury 2027 tickets guide.
U2 have only headlined Glastonbury once, in 2011. They were booked to headline in 2010 but pulled out after Bono needed emergency back surgery, NME reported at the time, then came back to top the Pyramid Stage the following year.
Is U2 playing Ireland on the 2027 tour?
Not on this leg. The band say the tour will end in Ireland, with plans already being made for 2028.
“We’ll be wrapping it up in Ireland,” The Edge said in U2’s announcement, adding that the band are “still figuring it out”. North American dates for 2027 are due to be announced in the coming weeks, after the Latin American shows sold out.
What is Carnaval De Luz?
It’s U2’s new album, their first studio album in nine years, out on Friday 13 November 2026.
The tour is named after it, and the world tour opens in Mexico City in February before heading to São Paulo and Buenos Aires. Several of those shows sold out quickly, and extra nights have been added in all three cities.
