Glastonbury 2027 registration is open, with tickets going on sale in October from £40

Glastonbury has confirmed when 2027 tickets will go on sale, how much they will cost and the deadline festivalgoers need to meet before trying to buy.

Tickets with coach travel will go on sale first at 6 pm BST on Thursday 1 October 2026, followed by the general admission sale at 9 am BST on Sunday 4 October.

Anyone aged 13 or over who wants to attend must have a valid Glastonbury registration before the ticket sales. Registration is free and closes at 5 pm BST on Friday 25 September.

General admission tickets will cost £408, including a £5 booking fee, plus postage and packing, according to the official Glastonbury 2027 ticket announcement. Buyers will initially need to pay a £100 deposit rather than the full ticket price.

When do Glastonbury 2027 tickets go on sale?

There are two main Glastonbury 2027 ticket sales in October.

Ticket + coach travel:
Thursday 1 October 2026 at 6 pm BST

General admission:
Sunday 4 October 2026 at 9 am BST

The coach sale takes place first, but anyone choosing that option should make sure they are able to travel on the coach they book.

Glastonbury says a ticket + coach booking cannot later be changed into a general admission ticket, and passengers must travel on their designated coach.

Tickets will be sold exclusively through Glastonbury’s official See Tickets sales site. Glastonbury warns that tickets bought elsewhere are not authorised.

When does Glastonbury 2027 registration close?

Registration closes at 5 pm BST on Friday 25 September 2026.

After that point, Glastonbury says there will be no opportunity to submit, re-submit or edit a registration until after the October ticket sales.

Registration itself is free and can currently be completed through the official Glastonbury registration website.

Everyone who will be aged 13 or over on 23 June 2027 needs their own valid registration before a ticket can be bought for them.

Registering does not guarantee a ticket. It simply makes you eligible to try to buy one when the sales open.

Do I need to register again if I’ve been to Glastonbury before?

Not necessarily.

If you already have a valid Glastonbury registration, the festival says you do not need to create another one.

However, organisers are advising previous registrants to check that their existing details are still valid before 25 September.

That is particularly important if you have not tried to buy Glastonbury tickets for some time.

Do I need to update my Glastonbury registration photo?

You may need to if your existing registration photo no longer looks like you.

Glastonbury tickets include a photograph of the registered holder and are designed to prevent tickets being transferred or resold to another person.

Organisers advise anyone whose existing photo is no longer a good likeness to update it at least seven days before registration closes.

That means it is better not to leave a photo update until the final day.

The festival uses registration photographs as part of its anti-touting system and checks them when ticket holders enter the site.

How much are Glastonbury 2027 tickets?

A general admission ticket for Glastonbury 2027 costs:

£408 including a £5 booking fee, plus postage and packing.

That covers admission from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027.

The £408 price is higher than the £378.50 charged for the 2025 festival, making this the first time the standard Glastonbury ticket price has passed £400.

The ticket includes five nights of camping as well as access to more than 4,000 performances across over 100 stages, according to the festival.

Do I have to pay £408 when Glastonbury tickets go on sale?

No.

Successful buyers will initially pay a £100 deposit per person during the October ticket sale.

If you buy a ticket with coach travel, the relevant coach fare will also need to be paid.

The remaining ticket balance will then be due in April 2027.

Glastonbury has confirmed that the balance payment window will run from:

9 am BST on Thursday 1 April 2027

until:

11.59 pm BST on Wednesday 7 April 2027.

The remaining ticket balance will be £308 plus postage and packing.

Car parking passes and cancellation protection will also be available to add during the balance payment period.

How many Glastonbury 2027 tickets can I buy at once?

You can book up to six tickets in one transaction during the main ticket sale.

That means a group of friends can attempt to buy together, provided everyone being booked for has a valid registration.

It is therefore worth making sure everyone in your group checks their registration before 25 September, rather than discovering during the sale that one person’s details are invalid.

Each person will need their own registration because Glastonbury tickets are personalised to the individual attending.

Can I give my Glastonbury ticket to someone else?

No.

Glastonbury tickets are strictly non-transferable.

Each ticket carries the registered ticket holder’s photograph, and security checks are carried out when people enter the festival to make sure the person using the ticket matches the registration.

This is also why buyers should be wary of anyone offering Glastonbury tickets through social media, unofficial resale websites or other third-party sellers.

The festival says its public tickets are sold only through See Tickets.

Should I buy a Glastonbury coach ticket just to improve my chances?

Only if you are genuinely able to use the coach journey you book.

Ticket + coach packages go on sale three days before general admission, which may make them tempting for people worried about missing out.

However, Glastonbury has specifically confirmed that coach tickets cannot later be converted into general admission tickets.

You must travel on the designated coach associated with your booking.

The festival also says someone who buys a ticket with coach travel will not then be able to purchase a campervan ticket for either the general or accessible campervan fields.

So it is worth considering those restrictions before choosing the coach sale simply because it happens first.
