In a tragic turn of events, three individuals have been charged with murder in connection with the death of Tyler Donnelly, a 19-year-old who was fatally stabbed in the neck in a west London park last Thursday.
The grim discovery was made by joggers in Hanworth Park, Feltham, shortly before 8 am on January 25. Tyler, who lived near the park, had left his residence at approximately 9:20 pm the previous day, riding his bicycle along Elmwood Avenue before entering the park.
Embed from Getty ImagesIt is suspected that Tyler, whose family resides nearby, was assaulted and stabbed while in the park. A post-mortem examination conducted on Saturday revealed that his cause of death was a stab wound to the neck.
In response to the murder investigation, three men were arrested on Sunday, subsequently facing charges related to the case. The accused individuals include Daniel Matos, aged 21, Keith Preddie, aged 32, and Joshua Cowley, aged 27.
These individuals are scheduled to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Deputy Chief Inspector Brian Howie expressed condolences, stating, “Tyler’s family and friends are inconsolable after receiving the worst possible news imaginable – our thoughts are with them, and they are being supported by specialist officers during this challenging time.”
