Celebrated WNBA veteran to lead Indianapolis parade, emphasizing community and youth empowerment

Indianapolis has chosen Tamika Catchings, the renowned former Indiana Fever star and community leader, as the Grand Marshal for the 2024 AES 500 Festival Parade. Catchings, who retired from the WNBA as its second all-time leading scorer, continues to inspire through her substantial contributions to youth and community development.

Catchings’ illustrious career spanned 16 seasons with the Indiana Fever, during which she earned ten WNBA All-Star selections and secured four Olympic gold medals.
