Marcin Pieciak faces murder charges after the tragic stabbing of Sarah McNally in Queens pub
In a devastating incident that has shaken the Irish community in New York, Marcin Pieciak, aged 36, has been charged with the murder of Sarah McNally, a 41-year-old woman originally from Longford, Ireland. The attack occurred last Saturday evening at The Céilí House pub in Maspeth, Queens, where McNally was working. According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), Pieciak, who shared a residence with McNally in the Glendale neighbourhood, inflicted a fatal stab wound to her neck before attempting to harm himself.
Responding to a 911 call from the pub on Grand Avenue in Maspeth, police found McNally in critical condition alongside Pieciak, who also had knife wounds, later determined to be self-inflicted.
