Realme launches the new P1 5G and P1 Pro 5G in India, offering top-tier specs and attractive launch offers in the mid-range segment

Realme has officially introduced its latest smartphone series, the Realme P1 5G and Realme P1 Pro 5G, in India. The launch marks a significant step for the Chinese smartphone giant in consolidating its presence in the mid-range market segment with devices that promise high performance and value.

The Realme P1 5G is priced attractively, starting at ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and ₹18,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option. Meanwhile, the more advanced Realme P1 Pro 5G starts at ₹21,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, extending to ₹22,999 for the 256GB storage version.

Both models boast impressive specifications, featuring a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, with a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate for smooth and responsive interactions. The display also reaches a peak brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring vivid visuals even under bright conditions.

The Realme P1 5G operates on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, tailored for efficient and powerful performance. The Pro variant steps up the game with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset accompanied by an Adreno GPU, enhancing the overall user experience with superior processing power and graphics capabilities.

Both devices run on RealmeUI 5.0, based on the Android 14 platform, and come with the promise of three years of OS updates and four years of security patches, underlining Realme’s commitment to software support and security.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor coupled with a 2MP secondary sensor on both models. The P1 Pro 5G adds an 8MP portrait sensor for enhanced depth and detail in portrait shots. A 16MP front-facing camera caters to selfie lovers and video callers.

Powering the devices is a robust 5,000 mAh battery supporting 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, enabling quick power-ups and extended usage durations.

The Realme P1 5G series will be available in two vibrant color options for each model: Peacock Green and Phoenix Red for the P1 5G, and Parrot Blue and Phoenix Red for the P1 Pro 5G
