In an unexpected development, the parents of the OnlyFans sensation, Courtney Clenney, find themselves behind bars, facing allegations of attempting to conceal evidence as their daughter awaits trial for the murder of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.

Courtney Clenney, a former OnlyFans content creator, was arrested in August 2022 in connection to the stabbing death of Christian Obumseli in April 2022. Despite claims of self-defence from Courtney’s attorneys, the 26-year-old was denied bail in December 2022 and remains in custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, Florida.

As the murder trial’s start date remains uncertain, recent reports reveal that Courtney’s parents, Deborah (57) and Kim Clenney (60), now face charges related to concealing evidence. Allegedly, Kim discovered a laptop belonging to Christian during the clean-up of their daughter’s Edgewater high-rise apartment, subsequently leading to their arrest on January 30.

Sources suggest that Kim Clenney handed the laptop to his legal team, sparking accusations of evidence tampering.

Currently held in Texas, the Clenneys await extradition to Miami. In response to their arrest, Courtney’s lawyer, Frank Prieto, expressed surprise and concern, suggesting a potential prosecutorial overreach. Prieto stated, “This could be an example of prosecutorial overreach and misconduct,” highlighting the family’s confinement awaiting an extradition hearing.

Prieto questioned the motives behind the arrest, stating, “It stinks of a power play by prosecutors to control the narrative.” He emphasized the family’s willingness to cooperate and criticized the unnecessary and distasteful nature of the arrest.
