Hollywood Walk of Fame gets an unexpected visitor during the ceremony

In an amusing twist to the post-Oscars celebrations, Messi the Dog, star of the film “Anatomy of a Fall,” was caught on camera relieving himself on Matt Damon’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The incident occurred after the long ceremony at the Dolby Theatre, as Messi needed a break while out for a walk.

The moment has sparked a wave of laughter on social media, with fans joking about the canine’s critique of Damon’s performances and suggesting Messi as a potential host for next year’s Oscars. One user quipped, “The best Oscars of all time just for this,” while another suggested, “Well, I guess this dog wasn’t a fan of those Bourne films. Poor Matt Damon.”

Despite the unexpected bathroom break, Messi had made a positive impression earlier in the evening, charming attendees like Ryan Gosling and Billie Eilish at the nominees’ luncheon. However, his antics on the Walk of Fame revealed a more mischievous side to the otherwise angelic-faced pooch.

The Oscars ceremony itself saw “Oppenheimer” emerge as the night’s biggest winner, with the film taking home seven awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Christopher Nolan. Cillian Murphy won Best Actor for his role in the movie, dedicating his award to “the peacemakers everywhere.”

While Messi may not have taken home an Oscar, his memorable moment on the Walk of Fame certainly won the hearts of many and added a lighthearted touch to the prestigious event.
