Merseyside police dismantle county lines operation, confiscating weapons and drugs in St Helens.
Two men have been jailed after Merseyside Police uncovered a deadly arsenal of weapons, including a crossbow, an air rifle, and knives, alongside a significant quantity of drugs during targeted raids in St Helens.
On January 9, officers executed warrants at two properties, leading to the arrests of Connor Lees, 24, from Lingholme Road, and Tyler Pimblett, 21, from Ellen Street. Both men were charged with multiple drug offences, including the supply of cocaine, ketamine, and cannabis. Lees also faced additional charges for possession of cocaine and cannabis.

The operation was part of Project Medusa, a Merseyside-led initiative targeting County Lines drug networks, which exploit vulnerable individuals and fuel violent crime.
Constable John Liauw-Jen-Choy, who led the investigation, highlighted the significance of the arrests. “We are pleased this investigation has disrupted the chain of supply and taken a significant quantity of drugs off the streets,” he said. “Organised crime creates fear and violence, and those involved show no concern for the communities they damage.”
Authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any signs of drug-related exploitation. Anyone with information can contact police via 999 for crimes in progress, 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
