Police investigate historical assault claim as Katy Perry denies allegations

Police in Melbourne are investigating allegations that pop star Katy Perry sexually assaulted Australian actor Ruby Rose at a nightclub more than a decade ago, claims that Perry has strongly denied.

Victoria Police confirmed that detectives from the Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) are examining a reported historical incident said to have taken place in 2010 at a licensed venue in Melbourne’s central business district.
