In a strategic media push ahead of the upcoming election, Vice President Kamala Harris made a notable appearance on the popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast on October 7, 2024, addressing crucial topics such as abortion, women’s empowerment, and resilience in public life. This engagement marks the beginning of a broader outreach effort by the Democratic ticket, aiming to strengthen their support as they face Republican challengers Donald Trump and JD Vance.

During the approximately 40-minute interview, which was recorded last week, Harris reflected on her journey as a woman in politics, crediting her mother for instilling the toughness needed to navigate such a challenging landscape. She underscored the importance of reproductive rights in the current election climate, asserting that these issues resonate deeply with women across the nation.

Harris encouraged listeners to embrace their identities and aspirations, saying, “I don’t hear no. I urge all the ‘Daddy Gang,’ don’t hear no, just don’t hear it.” This empowering message aims to inspire women to rise above doubts and societal limitations.

In a teaser released ahead of the “60 Minutes” episode, Harris sidestepped a question regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reframing the dialogue to emphasize the broader importance of the U.S.-Israel alliance.

Walz, following a challenging vice presidential debate performance, used his media appearances to clarify his stance on abortion rights and acknowledge past misstatements. In a Fox News segment, he faced questions about the Middle East situation, specifically Israel’s potential military actions against Iran, which he previously hesitated to address during his debate with Vance.
