Justice League director Zack Snyder has come to the defense of actress Amber Heard, expressing his support and stating that he would work with her again “in a second.” Amber Heard faced intense scrutiny and public condemnation during her defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder expressed bewilderment over the widespread criticism directed at Heard. He stated, “I just don’t get it. If other people don’t like her, I don’t know what to say. I would work with her in a second.” The director and Heard collaborated on Justice League, a superhero ensemble film featuring characters like Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg.

Amid the controversy, Snyder’s supportive stance stands out, as many in the public sphere have formed opinions based on the legal battles between Heard and Depp. While Heard’s future in the Aquaman film franchise remains uncertain, Snyder’s willingness to work with her again may offer her potential opportunities in the film industry.

Heard has relocated to Spain, away from the intense media attention in the United States. She has expressed her love for Spain and mentioned her excitement about future projects, signaling a commitment to moving forward after the trials.

Snyder, too, has moved on from the DC Extended Universe and bid farewell to the superhero film landscape. His latest project, an American epic space opera film titled Rebel Moon, marks a new direction in his filmmaking career.

As Heard navigates her career post-trial, Snyder’s public support adds an interesting dimension to discussions surrounding the actress and the broader issues of public opinion and redemption in the entertainment industry.
