12 names on The Sun’s list. Not one confirmed by ITV.
ITV has confirmed the launch: Monday 16 November at 9 pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX. The cast is expected around 10 November.
The I’m a Celeb 2026 line-up is still a list of reports, but it is getting firmer. The Sun has now named 12 campmates for I’m a Celebrity 2026, led by Wayne Rooney, Joanna Page and Ricky Wilson, with Leigh Francis, Leomie Anderson and Jack Skipper the latest additions. ITV has not confirmed a single one, and Jesy Nelson, once one of the firmest names, has reportedly pulled out.
What ITV has confirmed is the launch. I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! starts on Monday 16 November at 9 pm on ITV1. Here are all 21 names linked to the series so far, who reported each one, how solid it is, and when ITV is likely to reveal the real contestants.
Who is in the I’m a Celeb 2026 line-up?
Nobody is confirmed yet. The Sun has reported a 12-name I’m a Celeb 2026 cast, and nine more names have been linked along the way. Here they all are, grouped by how solid the reporting is.

| Jeremy ClarksonBroadcaster | Rumour round-ups only. No outlet has reported talks |

| Jesy NelsonFormer Little Mix singer | The Sun: pulled out to care for her twin daughters |
Not one of these is an ITV announcement. Every year a dozen celebrities say they would go into the jungle, and most of them do not.
ITV has confirmed the series, the hosts and the launch night. It has not named one campmate.
Which I’m a Celeb 2026 rumours are the strongest?
The 12 names on The Sun’s list are the strongest, with Wayne Rooney the biggest and Ricky Wilson the firmest. Jesy Nelson, who was reported to be close to a deal, has reportedly pulled out.
Wayne Rooney is the headline. The Sun on Sunday reported in September that he was in advanced talks, with a source saying ITV had been “in negotiations with him for some time”. His wife Coleen finished runner-up in 2024. We have tracked everything he has said about the jungle in our Wayne Rooney I’m a Celebrity page.
By Monday 2 November, The Sun had published what it presented as the full line-up, 12 names in all, TV Guide reported. Three of them are new since our last update.
Leigh Francis, the comedian behind Keith Lemon, is the most familiar of the three. The Sun reports he is in advanced talks after turning down earlier offers, and Ant has already made a public plea on the pair’s podcast: “Leigh, come on! This is our plea to you.” Model Leomie Anderson is reported to be joining, with an ITV source saying bosses are “over the moon”. Jack Skipper, a former carpenter turned stand-up comedian, completes the list, Capital reported.
Jesy Nelson had been reported to be close to a six-figure deal. In late October, a source told The Sun she had pulled out because her twin daughters, who have the rare muscle condition SMA type 1, are unwell, and “there is no way Jesy would leave them”. The same report says ITV has left the door open for a future series. Neither Nelson nor ITV has commented on the record, Capital reported.
Mariella Frostrup and Claire Sweeney both made The Sun’s list after being reported in advanced talks. A source called Frostrup, the broadcaster and Loose Women panellist, a “prestige” signing. Sweeney, who left Coronation Street in August, “has had multiple meetings now with ITV bosses”, Female First reported.
Joanna Page is one of the firmer reports. A source told The Sun in July that she was near a deal and “all the signs are looking positive”, adding that she had told friends she was keen and wanted to make her children proud.
Chloe Burrows is on the list too. The Sun first reported on 28 August that the Love Island star was in advanced talks, the same wording it used for Wayne Rooney.
Sharky, of the YouTube group Beta Squad, made the list as well. The Sun reported in August that ITV was keen, and says bosses see him as a way to reach younger viewers.
If Ade Adepitan takes part, he would be the first wheelchair user to enter the camp, and producers are reported to be looking at adapting the camp for him.
Nadiya Bychkova is the surprise omission. The Sun had reported her in advanced talks, and she left Strictly Come Dancing in March, so the BBC show no longer ties up her autumn. But she is not on its 12-name list, and neither is Mis-Teeq’s Su-Elise Nash.
Two names on most round-ups look weaker than they did. The Sun reported in August that Christopher Dean had been cast with Karen Barber in The Wild Frontier, the Canada spin-off, which would make a jungle place this year unlikely. And Jeremy Clarkson’s name keeps appearing in round-ups, but no outlet has reported that he is in talks.
Has the I’m a Celeb 2026 cast been confirmed?
No. ITV has confirmed the series, Ant and Dec, and the launch on Monday 16 November. It has not named a single campmate.
On the reported names, ITV has been direct. A spokesperson told The Independent that any suggested names are speculation, and when Chloe Burrows was linked, ITV told The Sun: “Any names suggested are just speculation.” That is the only thing the broadcaster has said about any of them.
If you have seen a post saying the cast has been revealed, check the names. One widely shared Facebook post lists Lisa Riley, Ruby Wax and Angryginge as this year’s campmates. All three were in last year’s camp, and Angryginge won it.
This is normal rather than unusual. ITV has historically held the full line-up until a few days before launch, with the campmates photographed on arrival in Australia.
When does I’m a Celeb 2026 start, and what time?
I’m a Celebrity 2026 starts on Monday 16 November at 9 pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player. ITV confirmed the date and time on 2 November.
- 16 OctSeries confirmedFirst teaser, Ant and Dec back
- 2 NovLaunch confirmed16 Nov at 9 pm
- Around 10 NovLine-up expectedBased on last year’s timing
- Mon 16 NovLaunch night9 pm on ITV1
ITV confirmed it in a festive video on Instagram, with Kiosk Kev recreating the carol singers scene from Love Actually, Capital reported. The Sun had already reported the same date and time. 9 pm is the show’s usual launch slot.
The launch has traditionally been a Sunday night, and recent series have all opened on a Sunday. This year it has moved to the Monday.
Here is the detail that gets missed. 16 November is exactly the date the 2025 series launched. It was a Sunday then and it is a Monday now. The series has not been pushed back at all. The calendar moved underneath it, and ITV has chosen not to pull it forward to Sunday the 15th.
Why has the I’m a Celeb 2026 start date moved to a Monday?
Football, according to a source who spoke to The Sun. England play Spain in the Nations League in Madrid on Sunday 15 November, with an 8.45 pm kick-off.
According to the same source, ITV now holds the Nations League rights, so the match would be on its own channel. A 9 pm launch that night would have started fifteen minutes into it, so the jungle has reportedly moved to the following night instead.
I’m A Celeb has always benefited from the Sunday night prime-time slot, but this year it’s all change.
A source, speaking to The SunITV has confirmed the Monday launch but has not given a reason for it. The football explanation comes from an anonymous source in a newspaper, not from the broadcaster.
When will the I’m a Celeb 2026 line-up be announced?
Expect ITV’s official announcement around Tuesday 10 November, based on last year’s timing. It will appear on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity page and across the show’s social accounts.
- Line-up announced on 10 November
- Launched on Sunday 16 November
- Two late arrivals added on 19 November
- Final on Sunday 7 December
- Launch confirmed for Monday 16 November at 9 pm
- Line-up expected around Tuesday 10 November
- 12 names reported by The Sun, none confirmed
- Final date not announced
Until then, treat every name as a report. Some of The Sun’s 12 will almost certainly be in the camp. Some may not, and campmates nobody has mentioned yet may walk in later.
That last part is not a hedge. Last year ITV announced twelve campmates on 10 November and then added two more, Tom Read Wilson and Vogue Williams, on 19 November, three days after the series had already started. The line-up published before launch was not the final one.
Has ITV released an I’m a Celeb 2026 trailer?
Yes. A first teaser on 16 October confirmed the series and Ant and Dec, a festive trailer followed on 19 October, and a video on 2 November confirmed the launch date. None of them names any campmates.
The first teaser asks “Who will be crowned this year’s King or Queen of the Jungle?”. The second has Ant and Dec leading a choir in Christmas jumpers through a jungle version of a festive song, with the presents swapped for offal, mud and vomit fruit smoothies. The singers get soaked. “That’s really got me into the spirit,” says Ant. The third has Kiosk Kev recreating the carol singers scene from Love Actually.
Who is hosting I’m a Celeb 2026?
Ant and Dec. ITV confirmed it in the first teaser on 16 October.
They have hosted every series since the show began in 2002, so this was never in doubt, but it is now official rather than assumed. ITV’s announcement says the pair are back “to present all the big stories live every night from Australia”.
The companion show, I’m a Celebrity… Unpacked, returns on ITV2 and ITVX with Sam Thompson and Kemi Rodgers. Joel Dommett, who co-hosted it in 2025, is not back.
Where is I’m a Celeb this year?
Australia. ITV’s teaser confirms the series is broadcasting live from there again.
The camp is in the hinterland of northern New South Wales. The 2025 series was based at Murwillumbah.
Is there an I’m a Celebrity in Canada?
Yes, but not this year. I’m a Celebrity… The Wild Frontier is a separate spin-off filmed in Canada. It launches in 2027 and does not replace the Australian series.
Celebrities compete in pairs, and the public votes out whole pairs. Filming has wrapped. Lifted Entertainment produces it.
A pre-recorded series with returning campmates. Adam Thomas won the live final on 24 April.
ITV announced The Wild Frontier in September, with Katie Rawcliffe, the broadcaster’s Director of Entertainment, Reality and Daytime, speaking about it publicly. Pairs eat, compete and are eliminated together, and the other half of a pair can be a relative, a friend, a partner or a second celebrity.
The Sun has reported the pairs, though ITV has not confirmed any of them: Rio and Kate Ferdinand, Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy, Christopher Dean and Karen Barber, Louise Redknapp and her brother Joe Nurding, and Paul Olima and Jeremy Lynch. Venezuela Fury and Noah Price were also named but reportedly quit during filming, with Love Island winner Toni Laites reported to be replacing them alongside a friend.
If you are looking for the nightly live show with the trials and the public vote, that is the Australian series starting on Monday 16 November.
Who won I’m a Celeb 2026?
Nobody yet, because the main series has not started. If you mean the South Africa All Stars series that aired in April, Adam Thomas won it.
| Series | Winner |
|---|---|
| AustraliaNovember to December 2025 | Angryginge |
| South Africa All StarsApril 2026 | Adam Thomas |
| AustraliaFrom 16 November 2026 | Not started yet |
I’m a Celebrity… South Africa ran on ITV from 6 to 24 April 2026, a pre-recorded series of returning campmates with a live final in London. Sir Mo Farah finished second and Harry Redknapp third, and Gemma Collins, Scarlett Moffatt and David Haye were also in the camp.
Last year’s main series in Australia was won by Angryginge, with Tom Read Wilson second and Shona McGarty third.
