Duke and Duchess of Sussex extend gratitude in virtual greeting

In a festive gesture that brought joy to fans, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed their 2023 Christmas card, featuring a charming image from this year’s Invictus Games.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again shared the warmth of the holiday season by unveiling their much-anticipated Christmas card for 2023. The virtual greeting, distributed via email, showcases the couple’s heartfelt appreciation for their fans and supporters.

The Christmas card captures the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at this year’s Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, radiating joy and togetherness. Prince Harry looked dashing in a black shirt and jacket ensemble, while Meghan Markle exuded elegance in a dark green strapless gown.

The card’s design harmoniously mirrors Meghan’s attire, adorned with a green border that perfectly complements her dress. The text within reads, “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!”

This marks the second consecutive year that the royal couple has chosen not to feature their children, Archie and Lilibet, in the Christmas card design. Last year, the focus remained on the Duke and Duchess themselves, with Meghan donning a stunning white off-the-shoulder dress, and Harry in a classic suit and tie against a red background.

In previous years, the Sussexes shared memorable family moments through their Christmas cards. In 2021, a casual theme saw Meghan, Harry, and Archie all in denim, with Meghan holding up baby Lilibet. The year before, the family embraced a brighter scene in their Montecito home, featuring Archie and their two dogs, Guy and Pula.

This release follows the Royal Family’s unveiling of their Christmas cards. While the King and Queen opted for a Coronation photograph from Buckingham Palace, Prince William and Kate shared a relaxed black-and-white photo with their children—Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

As the holiday season unfolds, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to captivate hearts, spreading cheer and expressing gratitude to those who have supported them throughout the year. The tradition of sharing their Christmas card remains a cherished connection with well-wishers, marking a festive celebration of unity and appreciation.
