David Storer, CLEPA’s Director of Research and new mobility, to share insights on greener, smarter, and safer transport technologies at London EV
Dr David Storer, a leading figure in the automotive industry and the current Director of Research, Innovation, and New Mobility at CLEPA—the European Association of Automotive Suppliers—will take centre stage at the London EV Show. With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Storer’s expertise promises to shed light on the future of mobility, focusing on sustainable advancements and cutting-edge technologies in the automotive sector.
At CLEPA, Dr. Storer has been instrumental in fostering collaboration among European automotive suppliers and stakeholders. His work prioritises greener, smarter, and safer mobility, a vision he has actively pursued since joining the association in 2020. His leadership extends to initiatives like the Connected Cooperative Automated Mobility (CCAM) Partnership, where he leads the “Vehicle Technologies” cluster, aiming to revolutionise the way vehicles operate and interact.
Dr. Storer’s career began in aerospace and defence, working with the British Ministry of Defence. His foundational work in non-linear system dynamics earned him a PhD from the University of Manchester in 1992. After transitioning to the automotive industry, he contributed significantly to innovation at CRF, the research hub for FIAT/FCA (now Stellantis), and IVECO, amassing a wealth of experience in vehicle technology and engineering.
