The former couple, once one of Hollywood’s most talked-about power duos, stood backstage at the Hollywood Bowl as their eldest child prepared for her big performance.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 44, shared her honest feelings about the moment, admitting that the experience had her nerves at an all-time high.
“I was near to having a heart attack,” she confessed, describing the overwhelming anxiety she felt as North took the stage to perform I Just Can’t Wait to Be King. But despite the tension, Kim and Kanye were united in wanting the best for their daughter.
Kanye, ever the perfectionist, couldn’t resist offering his input. As North got ready, he voiced his concerns about the stage setup. “Can we change the graphics to The Lion King?” he reportedly asked, wanting the production to match the Disney classic’s grandeur.
Rather than push back, Kim agreed without hesitation. “Of course, of course,” she recalled responding. “And I just look at them and I’m like, ‘It will be a better production [if you take his notes].’”
This brief exchange showcased a rare, drama-free moment between the exes, who have had their fair share of public conflicts since their 2022 divorce. While their past spats have often made headlines, Kim made it clear that, when it comes to their children, they are always on the same team.
