Camilla Cabello faces backlash after her concert in Atlanta reportedly draws a sparse crowd, with only 30% of tickets sold.

Camilla Cabello’s recent concert in Atlanta has sparked a heated debate after the pop singer reportedly performed to a nearly empty arena. Social media users were quick to criticise the sparse attendance, with many questioning her declining popularity.

One Twitter user wrote, “that s–t was EMPTY,” while another chimed in, “Just around 30 percent of the tickets [had] sold out.” The negative comments didn’t stop there, with one troll asking, “True question why do some singers do this? If you know you can’t sell arenas, why do them? Isn’t it just extra costs for no reason and embarrassment?”

However, not everyone joined in on the criticism. Rapper Mod Sun came to Cabello’s defence, praising her for going ahead with the performance despite the low turnout. “99 percent of artists would’ve cancelled the show + put out a ‘mental health’ statement,” he tweeted. “She just gained my respect by still performing.”

He emphasised the significance of the event, saying, “That show meant the world to the people in the crowd that night. EMPTY SHOWS ARE STILL SHOWS.” Another fan agreed, writing, “A real performer … loves her audience no matter the number.”

Despite the backlash, Cabello’s decision to take the stage appears to have earned her a measure of respect from some fans and fellow artists, showcasing her commitment to her craft, regardless of the crowd size.
