Coordinates in a new Oasis teaser point to Celtic Park, with five Glasgow shows rumoured for May 2027. Neither the band nor the venue has commented

Oasis have fuelled speculation about a Glasgow stadium return after posting a teaser video containing coordinates that point to Celtic Park.

The clip was shared on the band’s official channels on Thursday, 3 September 2026, and shows two boys in a chip shop while the band’s 2002 single “Little By Little” plays on a television. Flyers behind the counter carry a string of numbers. Fans decoded those numbers as map coordinates within hours.

Neither Oasis, Celtic, nor the tour promoters have commented on the video or on any 2027 dates.

Reports have pointed to five shows at the stadium in May 2027, but those come from unnamed industry sources rather than anyone on the record.

The timing has drawn attention because the band’s documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, has its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, 5 September.

Are Oasis playing Celtic Park?

Not as far as anyone has confirmed.

The band have not announced a 2027 tour, a Glasgow show, or any dates at all.

What exists is a teaser video containing coordinates that correspond to Celtic Park, and a set of reports based on anonymous sources.

Promoters for the tour have not commented publicly on the prospect of new dates, and Celtic have said nothing about hosting a concert.

What dates are rumoured for Oasis at Celtic Park?

The dates in circulation are 22, 23, 24, 26 and 29 May 2027, which would make five shows across two weekends.

That reporting attributes the dates to music industry figures speaking anonymously, and notes that promoters have not commented.

Why would Oasis play Glasgow?

Glasgow was left off the reunion schedule last year.

When Oasis toured in 2025, their Scottish dates were played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh, on 8, 9 and 12 August. The band did not play Glasgow at all.

The city also has a particular place in the band’s history. On 31 May 1993, Oasis turned up at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut without being on the bill and talked their way onto it, playing four songs.

Alan McGee of Creation Records was in the venue that night for his sister’s birthday and signed them on the spot.

“I said: ‘Let’s hear the second song ‘, and it was: ‘I am signing them’,” McGee later recalled.

The rumoured May dates fall in the same week of the year as that gig, although there is nothing to suggest that is deliberate.

Has Celtic Park hosted concerts before?

Yes, but not for a long time.

Celtic Park holds 60,411, making it the largest football stadium in Scotland and the eighth largest in the United Kingdom.

The ground has staged concerts including The Who in 1976, Bryan Adams and Prince in 1992, and U2 in 1993.

The last major show there was Wet Wet Wet in September 1997, meaning nearly three decades have passed since a concert on that scale at the stadium.

When will Oasis announce the 2027 tour?

No announcement date has been set, but the band are entering a period of heavy promotion.

Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger premieres at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, 5 September, with both Liam and Noel Gallagher expected to attend. The film runs to 122 minutes and was directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.

It reaches cinemas and IMAX on 9 September before a Disney+ release later this year.

Noel Gallagher has already been open about the band’s thinking for next summer. “There’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer,” he said.

The last Oasis sale is worth remembering before the next one. The Competition and Markets Authority investigated how Ticketmaster handled the 2024 reunion sale and found no evidence of dynamic pricing as fans had understood it.

What the regulator did find was that cheaper standing tickets sold out first and the remainder were then released at higher prices without that being explained, and that “platinum” seated tickets were sold at close to 2.5 times the standard price without a clear additional benefit.

“We’re concerned that Oasis fans didn’t get the information they needed or may have been misled into buying tickets they thought were better than they were,” the CMA said.

Ticketmaster agreed to change how it labels ticket types and explains pricing.

Which other venues are rumoured for the Oasis 2027 tour?

Two others appear repeatedly in reports.

A residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium has been suggested, along with a return to Knebworth Park, where Oasis played to 250,000 people across two nights in 1996.

Neither has been confirmed by the band or the venues.

Until the band or the venue says otherwise, the video and the coordinates are the only firm information available, and the rumoured Oasis dates at Celtic Park remain unconfirmed. With the documentary premiering in Venice on Saturday, 5 September and reaching cinemas on 9 September, any announcement is most likely to come during that window.
