Police launch urgent appeal, release CCTV images in Pendleton way assault

In a concerning incident, a woman was reportedly assaulted by a man outside a Tesco store in Pendleton Way, Salford, at approximately 10:45 pm on Saturday. The victim, according to police reports, was subsequently driven away in a dark-coloured vehicle, sparking an urgent investigation.

Greater Manchester Police have released three CCTV images captured near the entrance to Tesco Extra as part of their efforts to swiftly resolve the case. A police spokesman stated, “At 10:45 pm on December 16, a female was assaulted by a male on Pendleton Way, Pendleton, before she was seen being driven away in a dark-coloured vehicle. The incident occurred on the footpath by the entrance to Tesco Extra.”
