In a horrifying incident likened to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, Sade Robinson, 19, was allegedly dismembered by a suspect after their first date

In a chilling echo of past crimes, the remains of 19-year-old college student Sade Robinson have been discovered along the shores of Lake Michigan, leading to grave accusations against her recent acquaintance, Maxwell Anderson. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the discovery, which has rocked the local community and drawn parallels to infamous serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

Robinson, an aspiring military member studying criminal justice, met Anderson for a dinner date on April 2. Just days later, a passerby stumbled upon a severed leg in Warnimont Park, triggering a police investigation that quickly focused on Anderson. Following the grim find, additional parts of Robinson’s body were recovered on subsequent days, with the latest remains found as recently as Thursday.

While formal identification is pending, authorities are confident that the remains belong to Robinson. The gruesome manner of her death has left her family and friends devastated, with her mother, Sheena Scrabrough, expressing her anguish and disbelief on national media, comparing Anderson to Dahmer, known as the “Milwaukee Monster.”

Anderson, 33, was apprehended on April 4 and faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. He is currently held on $5 million bail at Milwaukee County Jail. His arrest was swift, aided by modern forensic technology, which provided a stark contrast to the challenges faced by law enforcement during Dahmer’s era in the early ’90s.

The case has drawn comments from retired Milwaukee police Lt. Steve Spingola, who worked on the Dahmer investigation. Spingola noted the abundance of forensic evidence available in Anderson’s case, highlighting advancements in crime-solving techniques that were not present during Dahmer’s time.

This horrifying event has prompted a broader discussion about safety and security, especially concerning dating and social interactions. The local community and authorities continue to process the shock of the incident as they prepare for Anderson’s preliminary hearing scheduled for Monday.

As the investigation continues, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office has called on the public to provide any relevant information that might assist in the ongoing case. Meanwhile, the community remains in mourning for Robinson, whose life was tragically cut short
