Shocking scene uncovered: 14 sheep dead as car used as a weapon in farmer’s field rampage

In a disturbing incident near Guildford, a teenager has allegedly unleashed havoc on a farmer’s field and as a result, 14 Sheep were killed. The horrifying event unfolded on Thursday morning in Bramley when farmer Nick Hutley, 65, discovered multiple gates broken into.

Expressing his disbelief and sorrow, Nick condemned the act as “barbaric” and “cruel,” labelling the perpetrator as a “monster.” He could not comprehend how someone could carry out such a heartless rampage on defenceless animals.

Nick, who found car parts in the field resembling a Nissan 4×4 bumper, described the grim scene where a dozen lambs were found dead, with two others later euthanized. The deceased lambs were removed for incineration.

The farmer emphasised that lifting the first wooden gate off its hinges, a task requiring at least two people, was necessary for the perpetrator to access the field. Nick expressed his shock, stating, “It’s truly horrific. We are still reeling from it and can’t quite get over it. It’s just appalling.”

The alleged teenage culprit, hailing from Redhill, was arrested for criminal damage and has been released on police bail. Sergeant Phil Bayman acknowledged the extreme nature of the incident, expressing sympathy for the farm owner and the broader community affected.

Describing the event as “extremely unusual,” Sergeant Bayman urged anyone with information to come forward, emphasising that the police were diligently working to bring the suspect to justice.
