Check out the latest buzz circling the internet! Brace yourself for some in-flight drama that’s causing quite the stir, even in the midst of winter travel. We all know the debate about travel manners gets fired up during the summer holidays, but guess what? It’s not taking a back seat even in the chillier months!

When it comes to plane etiquette, the great reclining seat debate usually takes the spotlight. But hold on tight, because there’s a new player in town causing a commotion on social media, thanks to a jaw-dropping Reddit video.

This viral clip exposes a passenger using a flashy, multi-coloured charger during a red-eye flight that’s meant for snoozing. The bright charger sticks out like a sore thumb amidst fellow travellers trying to catch some z’s before touchdown.

“Check out this woman’s charger in my row during a 6+ hour red-eye flight,” spilt one nearby passenger on Reddit.

This post has set Reddit ablaze, attracting hordes of reactions. “There are plenty of ways to use that cable stealthily in that scenario. Just hide the flashing by threading the cable through a sweater or shirt,” suggested one user.

“I own one and it’s awesome, but I keep it at home. I can’t fathom why anyone would want to draw attention to themselves with it, especially while disturbing others on a flight,” added another. “So, did you accidentally open the emergency exit at 30k feet? I don’t blame you. I’d be tempted,” quipped a third.

“I never even considered a cable could do that. Thanks, but no thanks,” bluntly remarked someone else about the eye-catching gadget.

But hold your breath! This isn’t the first time a flashy item on a flight has sparked a viral frenzy.

Last year, a video of a luminous hat took the internet by storm for all the wrong reasons.

The footage captures passengers settling in for a late-night flight in dim lighting until the camera pans over to a child sporting a hat that could double as a disco ball with its kaleidoscope of colours.

Clearly, the response from fellow passengers wasn’t exactly glowing as they attempted to catch some shut-eye on the overnight flight.
