Behind-the-scenes drama unfolds as Watson walks off set in hilarious disaster comedy
In the chaotic universe of 2013’s disaster comedy “This Is The End,” an unexpected twist unfolded as Seth Rogen confirmed that Emma Watson, the beloved Harry Potter actor, made a memorable exit from the set.
The star-studded film, featuring an ensemble cast including Jonah Hill, Kevin Hart, Channing Tatum, Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, and the ever-talented Emma Watson, portrayed exaggerated versions of themselves navigating an apocalyptic scenario alongside James Franco.
Rumors circulated post-release that Watson had walked off the set due to a scene deemed too over-the-top. The scene in question involved Danny McBride holding Channing Tatum on a leash, the latter adorned in a full-body leather suit.

When asked about the rumor, Rogen responded, “I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, ‘How dare she do that?’ You know? I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was.”
Addressing the scene that led to Watson’s departure, Rogen added, “But it was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. She was probably right. It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it.”
The unforgettable scene featured McBride revealing Tatum, dressed in leather, as his leashed servant. The hilariously cringe-worthy moment involved Tatum crawling on all fours, showcasing a comedic brilliance that fans of the film still remember.
As the behind-the-scenes anecdotes resurface, fans are left with a renewed appreciation for the dynamic and unpredictable journey that unfolded during the making of “This Is The End.”
