Thalia Graves accuses Sean Diddy Combs and his bodyguard of assaulting her and distributing a video of the attack as pornography, according to a recent lawsuit

Thalia Graves has filed a lawsuit against Sean Diddy Combs, alleging that he and his bodyguard, Joseph Sherman, sexually assaulted her two decades ago and distributed a video of the incident. Graves stated that she first met Combs in 1999 through her then-boyfriend, who worked as an executive at Bad Boy Records, Combs’s music label. In the summer of 2001, Combs called Graves, claiming he needed to discuss her boyfriend’s work performance. Graves, wanting to support her boyfriend’s career, agreed to meet with Combs. A few hours later, Combs arrived at her home with Sherman driving the SUV.

During the ride to Bad Boy’s studio in Manhattan, Combs offered Graves a glass of wine. After taking just a few sips, Graves felt dizzy and weak, leading her to believe she had been drugged. Once they arrived at the studio, Combs led Graves to a private room, where she lost consciousness. She woke up to find herself naked, her hands tied behind her back with a plastic bag. Sherman violently grabbed her and slammed her face against a pool table, she claims in the lawsuit.

Graves alleges that Combs then entered the room and raped her while she screamed in pain, begging for help. After passing out, she awoke again to find Sherman forcing her to perform oral sex on him. Graves escaped when she regained full consciousness, hurriedly dressing and leaving the studio. Fearing for her safety, she did not initially report the attack. She confided in her then-boyfriend, but instead of supporting her, he urged her to stay silent, claiming that going public would harm his career.

Over the years, Combs and Sherman allegedly contacted Graves to warn her against speaking out, threatening her family and even her custody of her son. Her trauma intensified in November 2023 when Combs’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing him of abuse. Graves’s ex-boyfriend revealed at the time that Combs and Sherman had filmed the assault and shared the footage with other men. The video was allegedly sold as pornography.

This lawsuit adds to Combs’s mounting legal problems, as he is currently in jail facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
