Track your lost items for less—Samsung SmartTag2 now at a record-low price, undercutting AirTag.

Losing your keys, wallet, or even luggage is an absolute nightmare. But Samsung has just made it easier—and cheaper—to track your precious belongings with a massive discount on its SmartTag2.

The Bluetooth tracker, which typically sells for £34.99, has plummeted to just £15.29 on Amazon—a staggering 56% discount. That’s even cheaper than Apple’s AirTag, which still holds firm at £35. The last time this deal came close was on Black Friday when it briefly hit its lowest-ever price of £14, according to price-tracking site CamelCamelCamel.

Samsung’s SmartTag2 is a discreet, lightweight gadget designed to help you keep track of easily misplaced items. Whether it’s your keys, backpack, or even your pet’s collar, the device syncs seamlessly with Samsung smartphones via Bluetooth. If you ever misplace something, the SmartTag2 will pinpoint its last known location on a map. Even if it’s out of range, as soon as another Samsung phone comes near it, the tag will reconnect and update its location.

Unlike Apple’s AirTag, which typically lasts one year before needing a battery replacement, the SmartTag2 boasts an impressive 500-day lifespan. It’s also IP67 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes and dust—perfect for more adventurous users who want to attach it to a bike or travel bag.

For those prone to misplacing items at home, Samsung has an answer. The SmartTag2’s AR Finder feature uses augmented reality to guide you straight to your lost item with on-screen directions. Alternatively, a quick press of the button on the tag itself will send a loud alert to your phone, helping you locate it instantly.

If you’re looking to stock up, Amazon also offers a four-pack for £50.82, making it a solid investment for families or anyone who frequently misplaces items.

What Are Buyers Saying?

With an average 4.4-star rating, Samsung’s SmartTag2 is proving to be a hit with customers.

One reviewer raved:
“They’re really easy to set up and use. They’ve given me the peace of mind I can find my keys in the middle of a field at 6 AM. I have three, and none have broken so far—even the one on my dog’s harness!”

Another buyer compared it to Apple’s AirTag:
“A decent tracking tag similar in function to AirTag. It provides accurate reporting on location, can be triggered remotely via a paired handset and simply works.”

But not everyone is thrilled. The biggest drawback? You must own a Samsung device for it to work.

One disappointed buyer noted:
“It does what it is advertised to do, and the build quality is good. However, I take two stars away because it requires a Samsung device to function.”

Another warned:
“I bought this, had it delivered, and then realised it’s useless unless you own a Samsung phone. Thankfully, my parents have Samsung devices, so they can track their keys—but I can’t track mine!”

Alternative Options

If you’re not a Samsung user, alternatives include:

  • Apple AirTag (£28 at Amazon) – Perfect for iPhone users.
  • Tile Mate (2022 model) (£22.99) – Works with both iOS and Android.

Samsung’s SmartTag2 is an unbeatable deal for Galaxy users, offering premium tracking features at a fraction of the cost of its competitors. But if you’re outside the Samsung ecosystem, you might want to look elsewhere.
