Samsung is reportedly preparing a One UI 7 Beta Program for its latest foldable, but the stable update timeline remains unclear

Samsung may soon expand its One UI 7 Beta Program to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, according to new leaks. A tipster spotted One UI 7 beta builds for these devices on the Checkfirm testing platform, suggesting Samsung is actively developing a beta release.

The detected firmware versions are:

  • Galaxy Z Flip 6: F741BXXU2ZYBC
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6: F956BXXU2ZYBC

These builds appear to be for the European and Indian variants, hinting at an upcoming beta release before the stable rollout. However, Samsung has yet to confirm any expansion of the One UI 7 Beta Program for foldable devices.

Stable One UI 7 Rollout Timeline Rumours

While Samsung remains silent on the One UI 7 stable release, a social media post by Buliga Cristian on X claims that Samsung Romania revealed an internal rollout schedule during a Galaxy S25 Zoom workshop. The alleged timeline states:

  • April 18, 2025: Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6
  • April 25, 2025: Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, A54
  • May 16, 2025: Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, A34
  • May 23, 2025: Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, A53, A33

However, Samsung has not officially confirmed these dates, and previous leaks have suggested a March-April rollout for the Galaxy S24 series.

Adding to the uncertainty, Samsung support messages have blamed Google’s Android update delays, though Android 15 is already available. Critics see this as a weak excuse, given One UI is Samsung’s own software.

What’s Next?

Samsung users are growing impatient for One UI 7, which promises smoother animations, sharper visuals, and deeper customisation. The potential beta program for foldable suggests Samsung is still refining the update, but a stable release remains unconfirmed.

With speculation intensifying, the One UI 7 launch remains one of Samsung’s most anticipated software updates—but until Samsung makes an official announcement, everything remains uncertain.
