A man has been charged with the murder of 46-year-old Paramjit Kaur, who was found dead in her Oldbury home on Monday morning.
West Midlands Police confirmed that Harminder Mattu, 50, has been formally accused of her killing. He is expected to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Paramjit Kaur was discovered at a property on Swan Crescent, Oldbury, where officers responding to an emergency call found her with severe injuries. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
News of the killing has shaken the local community. Ms Kaur’s family has described her death as “heartbreaking,” remembering her as a kind and hardworking woman who brought warmth to those around her.
