In a heartbreaking incident on the M6 motorway, Jaroslaw Rossa, a 42-year-old chef from Glasgow, has been named as one of the victims following a tragic head-on collision involving two vehicles near Tebay services. The accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the deaths of five individuals, including a 33-year-old woman and two boys aged 15 and seven, who were travelling in the same Toyota as Rossa.
According to reports, the second vehicle involved was a Skoda, driven by a 40-year-old man from Cambridgeshire, who was allegedly travelling the wrong way down the northbound carriageway at the time of the crash. This driver was also pronounced dead at the scene.
In a heart-wrenching twist, a seven-year-old boy, another passenger in the Toyota, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with serious injuries. His condition has not been disclosed, and authorities are yet to release the names of all those involved in the incident.
Thomas Heier, chief executive of Wagamama, has confirmed that Rossa was an employee at the Silverburn shopping centre and expressed profound sadness over his loss.
