The pop superstar and actor exchanged vows in a private London ceremony before Sicily plans
Pop superstar Dua Lipa has married actor Callum Turner in an intimate London ceremony, choosing a quiet celebration over a celebrity spectacle.
The couple exchanged vows on Sunday at Old Marylebone Town Hall, a venue long associated with high-profile celebrity weddings.
Rather than staging a lavish public event, the pair opted for a low-key ceremony surrounded by a small circle of family and friends.
Photographs from the occasion captured Lipa wearing a white skirt suit paired with a wide-brimmed hat, white gloves and matching heels. Turner chose a dark blue suit for the ceremony.
After becoming husband and wife, the newlyweds emerged from the historic London building hand in hand as guests showered them with confetti. Lipa carried a delicate posy of pastel-coloured flowers as the couple greeted those gathered outside.
The marriage marks a major milestone for the pair, who have been together for more than two years.
Lipa publicly confirmed their engagement last year during an interview with British Vogue, where she opened up about her excitement for the future. Speaking about their relationship, she described the idea of growing old together and building a shared life as deeply meaningful.
She also revealed that Turner had the engagement ring specially made for her after seeking guidance from her sister and closest friends, adding a personal touch to the proposal story.
While the London ceremony remained understated, celebrations may not be over.
The couple reportedly plan to host a three-day gathering in Sicily at the end of next week, suggesting a larger celebration could still be ahead following their intimate wedding day.
At 30, Lipa remains one of the most recognisable figures in global music. Her career has continued to dominate the international stage, including her headline appearance at Glastonbury in 2024.
Turner, 36, has built a growing profile in film and television, gaining worldwide recognition through the Fantastic Beasts franchise. He has also been linked to ongoing speculation surrounding the search for the next James Bond actor.
Their choice of venue places them among a long list of famous names who have married at Old Marylebone Town Hall.
The location became known for celebrity weddings decades ago. Paul McCartney married Linda Eastman there in 1969 before later returning to wed Nancy Shevell in 2011.
Fellow Beatle Ringo Starr also celebrated his marriage to Barbara at the venue in 1981.
Other famous couples to choose the town hall include Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas, who held a private ceremony there in 1996.
Liam Gallagher selected the venue twice, first for his marriage to Patsy Kensit in 1997 and later for his wedding to Nicole Appleton in 2008.
For Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, however, the focus remained firmly on simplicity. Despite their global fame, the pair chose a ceremony defined by close company, understated style, and a moment shared largely away from the glare of the spotlight.
