A shocking case has taken centre stage as a woman faces accusations of murdering her beauty blogger doppelgänger to stage her own death and break free from her strict family. The unfolding drama began in August 2022 when a blood-soaked body was discovered in the back of a parked Mercedes in Ingolstadt, Germany. Initially believed to be Munich-based beautician Shahraban K, the victim was later identified as Khadidja O, a 23-year-old influencer resembling Shahraban.

The accused, Shahraban and her boyfriend Sheqir K, both 24, are now on trial in Ingolstadt, a Bavarian town 50 miles north of Munich. German prosecutors suspect that the resemblance between Shahraban and Khadidja played a central role in the alleged crime, suggesting a sinister plot to fake Shahraban’s death.

The Daily Mail reports that the accused duo initially reached out to Khadidja, posing as popular rapper Lune, with a fake offer for a music video appearance. When this failed, they allegedly tried again, enticing Khadidja with an offer of a free beauty treatment in exchange for social media posts.

Tragically, Khadidja was picked up in the Mercedes from her hometown of Eppingen and later found dead near Shahraban’s home in Ingolstadt. The police discovered a gruesome scene, describing the victim’s death as resulting from “over 50 thrusts of the knife” with a completely disfigured face.

State prosecutor Veronika Grieser revealed the prosecution’s belief that the accused intended to go into hiding due to a family dispute, leading them to orchestrate the fake death. The trial’s first day, on Tuesday, faced delays as additional defence documents were submitted. Shahraban and Sheqir, potentially facing life sentences if found guilty, have yet to comment on the grave accusations, leaving the public and gossip circles eagerly anticipating further revelations in this chilling beauty blogger murder mystery.
