Fred Elliott actor leaves legacy of laughter and love

John Savident, famed for his role as Fred Elliott in “Coronation Street,” has died at 86. His agent shared the news. Savident’s voice and charm won hearts on the ITV show. Sue Nicholls, his on-screen love, expressed deep sadness. She cherished their memories together.
