Chloe Fisher’s harrowing ordeal leaves parents furious and school in shock
In a shocking incident at Wordsley School, Stourbridge, 15-year-old Chloe Fisher was left with a horrific head wound after a classmate attacked her with scissors during an English class. The assault, which occurred on February 26, resulted in Chloe being rushed to the hospital with cuts across her head, hands, arms, nose, and ear.
The attacker, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested following the horrifying episode, which was reportedly the culmination of a previous dispute during a school trip. Chloe’s quick thinking led her to call her father for help, as the school failed to immediately inform her parents or seek medical assistance.

The attack was so severe that a CT scan was needed to assess the damage, revealing the blade narrowly missed her skull.
Chloe’s parents, Jay Fisher and Emma Loat, expressed their outrage, not only at the attack but at the school’s failure to promptly communicate with them. This negligence left Chloe’s father to discover his daughter surrounded by teachers, with no police or paramedics on the scene, her face covered in blood.
The family is now questioning the safety of the school environment, opting to keep Chloe and her younger brother at home. This incident has sparked a full investigation by the school, while the police have taken the teenage assailant into custody, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
Wordsley School’s headteacher, Ashley Weatherhogg, assured the public that the incident is being addressed through the school’s behaviour policy and a thorough investigation is underway. However, this assurance does little to comfort a community shaken by the violence and the school’s initial response to such a traumatic event.
