Chelsee Healey faints from extreme pain after a shocking fall on Dancing On Ice, leaving her shaken.
Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey was left in agony after a dramatic fall during rehearsals for Dancing On Ice, resulting in her fainting from extreme pain. The 36-year-old actress, paired with pro skater Andy Buchanan, suffered a terrifying accident that left her unconscious on the ice.
While practising a routine, Chelsee lost control, landing directly on her tailbone. The shock of the fall caused her body to seize, and she fainted in the midst of the dangerous moment. Her professional partner, Buchanan, was quick to react, rushing to her side as panic set in. “We had one fall. She fell right on her tailbone, right on her coccyx. You know that shock that goes right through your body, and then she fainted. That was a bit of a scary one,” Andy explained to The Sun.
The incident left Chelsee unconscious for a short time, with her skates still frozen on the rink as Buchanan desperately tried to rouse her. “She was out for a minute. I was like, ‘Look at me,’ and then there was no looking at me,” he added. Chelsee recalls the terrifying experience, saying, “I remember Andy waking me up and going, ‘Chelsee, Chelsee,’ and he picked me up and dragged me off the ice. I was all dizzy, and then I just went.”
The fall left Chelsea shaken, not just physically but emotionally as well. Following the accident, the actress confessed to struggling with a loss of confidence, which has made her even more wary of her performance on the ice.
Known for her role in Hollyoaks, Chelsea has been pushing herself to excel on the ice, but this latest accident has left her questioning her ability to continue. The public outpouring of support from fans, however, has encouraged the actress to keep going, despite her fears.
Chelsea, who is a mother to two daughters, has shown her resilience over the years, but this frightening episode has been a reminder of the inherent dangers in such high-risk performances. As she recovers, both physically and emotionally, fans are rallying behind her, hoping for a speedy return to the rink.
