Two 15-year-old boys arrested in connection with the murder
The 16-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed in Bristol’s Rawnsley Park has been identified as Darrien Williams. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night when two individuals wearing masks attacked Darrien before fleeing on bicycles.
Darrien managed to run to Stapleton Road for help, where a driver assisted him while the police responded to the scene. Despite efforts by medical personnel, Darrien succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody. Avon and Somerset Police are working diligently to determine the circumstances of Darrien’s death and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
Senior Investigating Officer Det Insp Neil Meade expressed his condolences to Darrien’s family and emphasized the ongoing efforts to seek justice. Bristol Commander, Supt Mark Runacres, highlighted the commitment of the investigative team and the provision of support to Darrien’s family during this difficult time.
