Australian content creator Ben Hutchinson, known as Ben Blue on social media, has unveiled the surprising details of his earnings as an UberEats delivery driver. In a TikTok video, Hutchinson broke down his income, revealing that he made an additional $416 in a week by working 16 hours and 17 minutes. The content creator, who engages in full-time content creation from home, embarked on UberEats driving as a means to spend more time outdoors and earn extra income. Hutchinson’s transparency in sharing his earnings aims to provide insights and encourage others to explore side hustles.

Ben Hutchinson, content creator and UberEats delivery driver, shared a detailed breakdown of his earnings on TikTok. Despite initially joining UberEats as a way to get out of the house, Hutchinson expressed surprise at the substantial income generated from his deliveries. In the video, he highlighted that the earnings amounted to approximately AUD$40 per hour, based on a week’s work excluding Saturdays. The transparent income breakdown aimed to shed light on the potential financial benefits of engaging in UberEats driving.

Hutchinson explained that he worked around an hour to an hour-and-a-half during lunchtime and dinner from Monday to Friday, with an additional delivery on Sunday. The total income for the week amounted to AUD$633, which, when divided by 16 hours, resulted in an hourly rate of approximately AUD$40. The content creator emphasized that UberEats driving experiences may vary for individuals but hoped that sharing his earnings would inspire others seeking alternative income sources.

As an UberEats driver, Hutchinson highlighted the ability to claim expenses such as fuel and car services on tax. The content creator concluded the video by expressing his hope that transparency about his UberEats earnings would encourage fellow Australians looking for diverse ways to make money. The side hustle, while different for everyone, showcased the financial potential of engaging in food delivery services.
