The latest iteration of Aston Martin’s DBX707 SUV features revised dynamics and upgraded interiors, maintaining its status as a top-tier performance vehicle

Aston Martin has rolled out significant updates to its flagship SUV, the DBX707, for the 2024 model year, focusing on enhanced driving dynamics and technological advancements. This update comes two years after the vehicle’s initial launch, which marked Aston Martin’s ambitious foray into the high-performance SUV market.

Central to the 2024 refresh is the revised chassis setup designed to optimize the vehicle’s already impressive performance. The DBX707, renowned for its potent twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine that delivers 697bhp and 900Nm of torque, now features recalibrated electronic dampers and air springs. These tweaks aim to improve the SUV’s response, and precision, and boost driver confidence, ensuring that the DBX707 remains among the fastest SUVs globally with a top speed of 193 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.1 seconds.

Technological upgrades are also at the forefront of the 2024 DBX707. Aston Martin has introduced a “next-generation” infotainment system while maintaining the dual-screen setup with a 12.3-inch display for the driver and a 10.25-inch central screen. This new system promises a more seamless and intuitive user experience, replacing the previous version that was a re-skinned Mercedes infotainment system—a nod to Aston Martin’s ongoing collaboration with Mercedes.

Interior enhancements include a selection of new materials such as gloss smoked oak, titanium mesh, and ziricote wood, alongside updated piano black and carbon fibre veneers. These are complemented by redesigned air vents, new door handles, and steering wheel designs borrowed from the new DB12 model. The standard “Premium Audio” sound system ensures acoustic excellence, with an optional Bowers and Wilkins system available for audiophiles.

Aesthetically, the DBX707 sports five new paint finishes—Epsilon Black, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, Malachite Green, and Aura Green, with the exclusive Podium Green from the DBX707 AMR23 Edition also now available. Wheel options have expanded to include 22- and 23-inch designs with satin black and copper bronze finishes, enhancing the vehicle’s striking appearance.

With a starting price previously set at £198,000, the updated DBX707 is expected to surpass the £200,000 mark, reflecting the enhancements and the brand’s positioning in the luxury performance SUV market. First deliveries of the revamped model are scheduled for Autumn 2024, promising a new level of luxury, performance, and refinement for discerning customers.
