Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet remain distant from the royal family as tensions with Harry and Meghan persist
A deepening royal divide has left Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet growing up with little connection to their extended family, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move to the US continues to create distance.
A well-placed insider has revealed to The Mirror US that Prince William, Kate Middleton, and even King Charles remain largely separated from Harry’s children. “It’s just so sad that Meghan and Harry’s children don’t have any relationship with their real aunt and uncle,” the source lamented.

While Harry and Meghan have claimed to share video calls and messages featuring the kids with Charles, it’s not the same as interacting in person.”
Archie and Lilibet’s last visit to the UK was in June 2022, during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Since then, the Sussex children have remained firmly in California, with no confirmed plans to visit their father’s homeland.
While King Charles has reportedly expressed a desire to spend time with his grandchildren, Meghan and Harry’s ongoing tensions with the Royal Family have made reconciliation difficult.
With years of royal feuds and ongoing media scrutiny, the question remains: will Archie and Lilibet ever build meaningful relationships with their royal relatives, or will they remain outsiders to their father’s family?
