With a lineup that ranges from blood-curdling horror to wordless comedies and introspective documentaries, this month’s movie offerings are as diverse as they are compelling.

1. Abigail

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s horror comedy merges the intensity of “Reservoir Dogs” with the unpredictability of “M3gan,” featuring Alisha Weir in a potentially vampiric role. Expect a blood-soaked venture that’s as entertaining as it is gory, hitting screens on 19 April.

2. Coup de Chance
