TikTok sensation @thatamazonguyy bids farewell to 7-year tenure at the retail giant after uproarious clip

In a shocking turn of events, a seasoned Amazon employee and TikTok influencer, known as @thatamazonguyy, claims to have been handed his marching orders following a controversial video that took a humorous swipe at the e-commerce behemoth.

The uproarious clip, which garnered widespread attention last month, saw the TikToker playfully urging viewers to reconsider purchasing certain items from the global retail giant. The contentious piece specifically targeted water enthusiasts, advising them to abstain from buying their hydration fix on Amazon.

In the now-viral video, @thatamazonguyy lamented an unexpected day of manual labor, revealing, “Since I’m a trainer, most of you should know trainers don’t really do much, we sit on our ass all day. I already knew it was gonna be a tough day.”

The entertainer continued, “Tell me why every other item I picked was either Fiji water or f*cking dog food. Are you telling me you’re out of water, you go on Amazon and you wait two to three business days to get your [fricking] water, bro?”

The aftermath of the video saw a mixed response on TikTok, with some viewing it as light-hearted banter and others raising concerns for individuals with disabilities who rely on Amazon for heavy item deliveries.

Fast forward a few weeks, and @thatamazonguyy took to the platform once again to share his unfortunate fate. In a video posted last week, he somberly announced, “Hi guys, I have some bad news. Uh, Amazon done fired my dumbass. Seven long years down the drain just like that.”

Acknowledging the dual reception of his controversial video, he stated, “If you were offended by that video, I am sorry. I never meant to offend anyone or discriminate against anyone. I just wanted to make a funny video.”

The TikTok star, who had dedicated seven years to the online retail giant, expressed his regret at losing his job and being ineligible for rehire. Despite the setback, he reassured his followers, promising to continue delivering entertaining content.

Fellow Amazon colleagues and fans have since flooded social media with messages of support, branding the retail giant’s decision as ‘petty.’ The departure of @thatamazonguyy leaves behind a void in the realm of amusing glimpses into the inner workings of Amazon, leaving fans curious about what’s next for the social media sensation.
