K-pop boyband TXT launches its first European tour after a two-month break, promising fans a spectacle

K-pop powerhouse Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has officially kicked off its long-awaited European tour, marking a major milestone in the group’s six-year career. The five-member boyband, managed by Big Hit Music—the label behind BTS—performed its first UK show at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, thrilling thousands of eager fans.

The tour follows a two-month hiatus that left fans wondering about the group’s future. TXT’s leader, Soobin, had announced a temporary break in January, citing health reasons, while the entire group took time off to rest and reconnect with their families. Speaking ahead of their London performance, member Hueningkai reflected on the impact of the time away.

“It was the first time we took such a long break. It gave us time to reflect on many things,” he said. “I think it actually brought us closer together and allowed us to think more about ourselves as a team and artists.”

During their hiatus, the members spent time recharging in different ways. Hueningkai enjoyed a trip to South Korea’s Jeju Island and later visited Japan with friends, while Taehyun shared that stepping away from the spotlight provided a new source of inspiration. “Rest is as important as working because rest always inspires me a lot,” he explained.

TXT’s Growing Global Success

Since debuting in March 2019, TXT has built an international fanbase known as “MOA” (Moments of Alwaysness), winning over listeners with their unique blend of pop-rock and K-pop influences. Their global success has been undeniable—2024’s Minisode 3: Tomorrow ranked as the 10th best-selling album worldwide, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). Additionally, the group placed seventh on IFPI’s Top 10 list of global recording artists for 2023.

Now, with their European tour in full swing, fans can expect an unforgettable experience. “It’s a really colourful and diverse set list, so I think it will be really fun for the fans. There are solo stages that we haven’t shown before,” Hueningkai teased.

The tour, which began in Barcelona on March 20, will continue across major European cities, including Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Beomgyu’s Solo Debut and Future Music Plans

TXT isn’t just delivering fresh performances—member Beomgyu is also set to make his solo debut with Panic, a mixtape scheduled for release on March 27. While details about new group projects remain under wraps, the band hinted that fans should stay tuned for exciting surprises. “No spoilers,” they said, leaving MOAs eagerly awaiting what’s next.

With renewed energy, a growing global fanbase, and a dynamic setlist, TXT’s European tour is shaping up to be a defining moment in their career.
