A third teenager has tragically died following a serious collision on Offoxey Road in Tong. The crash, which occurred at 11:15pm on March 14, involved an Audi A1 and has now claimed three young lives, leaving a fourth passenger with life-changing injuries.
West Mercia Police have confirmed the identities of the victims.
- Simon Evans, 18, from Perton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Jacob Holeman, 17, from Codsall, died in hospital on Saturday.
- Jenson Bridges, 17, from Brewood, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
A 17-year-old survivor remains in hospital in a stable condition, but has suffered severe, life-altering injuries.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash and are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to assist with their enquiries.
Inspector Steph Arrowsmith, from West Mercia Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team, expressed condolences to the victims’ families and stressed the importance of witness accounts.
“Sadly, three teenagers have died, and one remains in hospital with life-changing injuries. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic incident.”
Investigators are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was on Offoxey Road on Friday night, as well as those who may have seen the Audi A1 travelling through Bishops Wood and Brewood around 11pm.
Police believe the Audi was travelling alongside a red Vauxhall Corsa and a black VW Golf, though neither of these vehicles were involved in the crash. Officers hope that motorists who saw these cars together may recall key details that could aid the investigation.
