At approximately 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, witnesses observed Wallen on the rooftop of Chief’s Bar, engaging in behaviour that quickly escalated. He reportedly lifted a chair and launched it over the edge of the six-story building, laughing as it plummeted towards Broadway. The chair landed perilously close to two Metro Nashville Police Department officers, missing them by mere feet. The officers, along with bar staff and witnesses, corroborated the account, further supported by security footage, leading to Wallen’s arrest.
Following his arrest just after 12:30 a.m., Wallen faced three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanour disorderly conduct. After posting a $15,250 bond, he was released from Davidson County jail around 3:30 a.m. In response to the incident, Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, issued a statement indicating Wallen’s cooperation with authorities but did not elaborate further on the situation or any potential implications for the country star’s career.
