Netflix unveils exciting April 2024 lineup: Thrillers, true crime, and comedy galore

From “Ripley” series to “What Jennifer Did” documentary, Netflix packs April with must-watch content

Netflix is gearing up to captivate its audience this April 2024 with a dynamic range of new releases that include eagerly awaited series, intriguing documentaries, and a collection of stand-up specials guaranteed to keep viewers entertained throughout the month. The streaming giant’s April offerings are headlined by the psychological thriller series “Ripley,” based on Patricia Highsmith’s classic novel, starring Andrew Scott, Dakota Fanning, and Johnny Flynn in a captivating black-and-white adaptation that reimagines the tale of New York’s scam artist.

Adding to the excitement, Netflix is set to premiere the sixth season of the reality competition “The Circle” on April 17, where contestants vie for social media supremacy. April Fool’s Day will see the debut of “The Magic Prank Show with Justin Willman,” a new venture by the magician-comedian that promises laughs and surprises with elaborate pranks on unsuspecting participants.

True crime enthusiasts have much to look forward to with the feature-length documentary “What Jennifer Did,” unravelling a mysterious home invasion in Ontario, Canada, and “Crime Scene Berlin: Nightlife Killer,” a deep dive into a string of murders in Berlin’s vibrant party scene.
