Andre Gordon Jr. Charged with murder and other crimes after deadly shootings in Pennsylvania and New Jersey

Andre Gordon Jr., a 26-year-old homeless man from Fallsington, Pennsylvania, now faces a myriad of charges including murder, assault, and burglary following a deadly crime spree that spanned two states. Gordon is accused of killing three family members in Pennsylvania before fleeing to New Jersey, where his series of violent acts continued.

Early on Saturday morning, Gordon allegedly shot and killed his stepmother, 52-year-old Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, in their Falls Township home. Despite three other individuals being present in the house at the time, they managed to avoid the assailant.

The violence escalated as Gordon proceeded to another home, murdering 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of his two children. Daniel’s mother suffered injuries in the attack but is expected to survive, adding a grim layer to the already tragic events.

The authorities were first alerted to the shooting at approximately 8:50 a.m. on Viewpoint Lane in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Gordon’s rampage didn’t stop there; he continued his criminal activities, culminating in a carjacking at gunpoint outside a Dollar General store in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

Gordon’s flight from the law led him to Trenton, New Jersey, where he was eventually apprehended following a tense standoff involving SWAT teams and multiple law enforcement agencies. This series of events not only led to a massive law enforcement response but also caused significant alarm and disruption in the affected communities.

Charges laid against Gordon in Pennsylvania include three counts of first- and second-degree murder, among other charges. In New Jersey, he faces additional charges including first-degree carjacking and illegal possession of firearms.

The authorities’ swift action brought Gordon’s dangerous spree to an end, but the impact of these events on the communities in Bucks and Mercer counties is profound. Officials have committed to a coordinated response to ensure Gordon faces justice for his alleged crimes across both states.

As the legal process unfolds, the focus remains on the victims of this tragic ordeal and the lasting effects on their families and communities
