BBC Scotland has sadly announced the untimely death of its presenter, Nick Sheridan, at the age of 32, following a brief illness. Nick Sheridan, renowned for his dynamic presence on BBC Scotland and his significant contributions to journalism, left an indelible mark on those who knew him and the industry at large. Born in Wexford, Ireland, Nick Sheridan’s career was characterized by his dedication to journalism and his ability to engage with a wide range of subjects with empathy and insight. After receiving his journalism degree from Dublin City University, Nick worked in various capacities, including as the Consumer Affairs Correspondent for BBC News in Scotland and the host of the news review show Seven Days. Additionally, he authored three books, further showcasing his versatile talents.
