MM Concrete Specialty, an Orange City-based company, learned of her plight and volunteered to replace the driveway free of charge. Collaborating with 9 Family Connection and McCoy Federal Credit Union, Brochu made a surprise $10,000 donation to The Russell Home charity. The Russell Home specializes in caring for newborns, children, and adults with severe disabilities, and the contribution comes as the facility prepares to expand its care services.

While still navigating challenges related to selling her house, Brochu expressed gratitude for the positive outcome. “I was put in a bad situation. But there’s a beautiful outcome to this story,” she remarked during a tour of The Russell Home.
