In a recent red carpet interview at the Golden Globes, Jennifer Lopez addressed the internet frenzy surrounding her husband, Ben Affleck, and his seemingly stoic expressions in pictures.

However, JLo stepped up to clarify the air. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she laughed off concerns about Affleck’s ‘Resting B**** Face’ (RBF) and assured fans that he’s doing just fine. In a clip shared on ET’s TikTok page, when asked about the constant speculation on Affleck’s facial expressions, Lopez replied, “Ben is doing alright. You don’t need to worry about Ben. Let me just tell you he is good. He is happy, he is here, he is nominated. He’s like ‘I’m chilling, I don’t understand what people are pressed for.’ He is alright.”

Social media users echoed JLo’s sentiments, attributing Affleck’s expressions to RBF. One TikTok user commented, “Ben has resting misery face. Some of us just aren’t smiley people!” Others shared similar experiences, defending the actor’s natural expression.

Despite pictures from the Golden Globes not capturing a broad smile, a subtle smirk was evident. Lopez, in response to other reporters, also provided insight into her relationship with Affleck, confidently stating that their recent 2022 wedding would be her final one.
