They set hearts racing and gained fame in the Love Island villa, and now, they’re back for round two. Love Island’s familiar faces like Georgia Harrison, Kaz Kamwi, and Liberty Poole are gearing up for the return of Love Island All-Stars next week. Since their stint on the hit ITV reality show, life has been a whirlwind for these former contestants, with some finding more luck than others in their post-villa endeavours.

While power couple Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have been building a whopping £12m business empire, others haven’t had it as smooth.

Let’s dive into the turbulent lives of these stars after leaving the villas – from heartbreaks due to crimes to scandals and online abuse.

£32k Fraud Saga

Georgia Steel’s Love Island journey in 2018 was marked by relationship ups and downs. After the show, she dated Jack Fowler and then Sam Bird, but the latter split just three months after their exit. In 2019, her turmoil continued as she fell victim to a £32,000 con by fraudster Medi Abalimba, posing as a US Government agent named Miguel Johnson.

Abalimba splurged Georgia’s money after cloning her credit card, even buying her a diamond ring. Their whirlwind romance ended when his fraudulent past came to light. Abalimba, previously jailed for similar scams, was eventually sentenced again in 2021.

Revenge Porn Nightmare

Georgia Harrison, last to enter the 2017 Love Island villa, faced her own harrowing ordeal in 2020 when her ex Stephen Bear leaked CCTV footage of them online without her consent. Her battle didn’t stop there; she also suffered health issues due to stress caused by the ordeal. Bear was later sentenced, but the scars of the incident lingered.

Pregnancy Heartache

Hannah Elizabeth, the 2015 Love Island runner-up, had a rollercoaster journey. After a brief engagement following the show, her relationship ended before she announced her pregnancy. Sadly, just before giving birth, she found herself alone, emphasising the need for a healthy environment for her child.

Controversies and Challenges

Anton Danyluk stirred controversy with a 2013 blackface incident, causing an uproar even beyond the Love Island bubble. Mitch Taylor faced professional setbacks post-villa due to alleged behaviour issues, leading to a split with his management team.

Relationship Woes

Luis Morrison’s Love Island romance didn’t guarantee a happy ending. Despite a child with Cally Jane Beech, their relationship took a rocky turn, with allegations of cheating and subsequent relationship struggles.

Health Battles

Demi Jones, known from Winter Love Island in 2020, faced a frightening battle with thyroid cancer, undergoing surgeries and treatment but thankfully received the all-clear by the end of the year.

Overcoming Adversities

Liberty Poole’s rise to fame post-Love Island wasn’t without challenges. From facing verbal abuse and online trolling to a terrifying encounter with a knife-wielding stranger, she’s shown resilience amid difficult situations.
